The Village Hall is an ideal venue for meetings, parties, educational classes and other events. Originally the village school, the Hall was extended and refurbished in 2002 with the aid of a Lottery Grant. It was officially opened on 16th November 2002.
Home to the Tansor Playgroup for over 30 years, the Hall is available for hire in the afternoons and evenings during school term and all day at other times and weekends.
The Hall is L-shaped and can seat up to 60 persons around 12 tables.
Heating is automatically controlled by modern renewable energy sources.
The kitchen is equipped with a 4 plate hob, small fridge with a sink and hot and cold water.
There are glasses, crockery, cutlery and tea and coffee making facilities.
The garden is ideal for summer parties, small fetes and barbecues.
The Hall is licensed for entertainment and the sale of alcohol.
There is ample parking.
Hire charges are £8.00 per hour for residents of Tansor and £10.00 for non-residents.
The hire fee includes use of tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glasses and all kitchen equipment plus electricity.
